I grew up in a charming Southern California neighborhood, where my love for all things creative first took root—from cooking and sewing to art and everything in between. My family home was a gathering place, full of life and celebration, and I developed a deep love for entertaining and creating beautiful, welcoming environments during the many parties, weddings, and events we hosted throughout my childhood.
As a teenager, I stepped into the world of construction while studying design in Los Angeles. That blend of hands-on experience and creative exploration became the foundation for my career and ultimately led to the launch of my design firm. It gave me not just creative freedom, but also a strong understanding of how to manage complex projects—skills I bring into every collaboration with my clients.
I started Urban Gypsy to share my signature West Coast aesthetic: laid-back, sensibly refined, and always personal. My goal is to help families uncover their unique style and fall in love with the spaces they live in—through thoughtful selections, intentional design, and attention to every detail. From custom cabinetry and 3D plans to contractor coordination, I focus on creating spaces that feel effortlessly elevated and comfortably lived in.
To me, design isn’t just about how a home looks—it’s about how it lives. Whether I’m hosting friends, curled up on the couch with my daughter, or enjoying coffee in the garden, I believe every moment at home should feel meaningful, inviting, and beautifully your own.
